Public Spaces at the Library
At the Library, there are rooms open to the public for reservation. The Library houses two meeting rooms and two study rooms. The meeting rooms are open to community groups to host free programs, public meetings, or private meetings. Study rooms provide a quiet place for solo or group work. All meeting room activities must comply with the Library’s Public Behavior on Library Property policy and Meeting Room Policy.

Meeting Rooms at the Library

Spillette Meeting Room
The Spillette Meeting Room is the largest meeting room available at the Library. It is located on the lower level but can be accessed by elevator or stairs. The room comfortably seats up to 100 people in a lecture atmosphere. Provided with this room are chairs and ten tables to set up specifically for the individual meeting/program.

  • Projector Screen
  • AV System ( Compatible with devices with HDMI or USB-A ports, only HDMI cords are provided by the Library)
  • Podium with microphone
  • DVD Unit
  • Kitchen with cooktop, refrigerator, and large coffee urn (Use of the kitchen requires a $10 maintenance fee.)

When reserving either meeting room, ensure you have read and agree to our Meeting Room Policy. By reserving the meeting room, you are agreeing to abide by the terms of this policy. 

O.C. Barber Board Room
The O.C. Barber Board Room is perfect for smaller meetings. This historical board room features original stained glass windows from the O.C. Barber Mansion, portraits of O.C. Barber and his wife, and photos of the mansion. The historical room was named after Barberton’s founder to showcase these artifacts, and other O.C. Barber memorabilia that are housed in the Library.

This space can accommodate up to ten individuals. This room has a large meeting table with 10 chairs and a television which individuals can mirror their personal devices to for presentations.

Quiet Study Room #1 
This study room is better for small groups or individuals looking for a quiet place to do work. This room only has a small table with four chairs. Suitable for up to four individuals. 


Quiet Study Room #2 
This study room is designed for group work. The room has a larger table with eight chairs and a whiteboard for public use.
